Irregular Verbs with the i-o-en Pattern
These are verbs whose base form has the vowel i, past simple changes to o, and past participle ends in -en.
infinitive (i) → simple past (o) → past participle (-en)
* "Stridden" is quite rare and mostly used in literary contexts.
